you are out of sol to be sued, unless you signed a agreement with someone. fight them all the way!! good luck! let me know how it goes..i also am in texas. :) counter file for frivilous lawsuits..knowingly out of SOL. do not tell them anything nor answer them except in court. make sure this company is bonded to collect by checking with our AG..secretary of state. they will tell you in 48 hours. complain to the AG,,BBB, and state bar. make sure the lawyer is licensed to practice here. always show up and fight! goooood luck! our SOL is 4 years..bring copies of it and why cc are open contracts. make copies for everyone of all your proof. and they must file in district court here...no small claims. also copy that law, in case you need it. make copies of where that does NOT reset any SOL, unless you signed a new agreement with someone. please say you didnt.
