Thank you ! I didn't think that they could legally do much. From what I have read on the internet , it states debts like this one has a limit of 6 years of enforcement. So this one definitely falls into the 6 years.

Also I noticed on the credit report it states that it was written off. Does that change anything ? I would think not , but just wanted to check. We have not talked to these people , have not agreed to repay , pay and so on. And we have not sent any other correspondence related to this debt. So I know they cannot say that we have reaffirmed it.

So just a standard SOL letter sent certified should do it huh ?
