Judgements and bankruptcy!

I am contemplating whether or not it would in my best interest to file BK or just wait this awful time out. My case with Capitol One is pending and Bank One apparently won their arbitration award. Like I said, I'm weighing the pro's and con's of BK. As far as I see it, either way my credit is shot for about the next 10 or so years. My question is: When or if I file BK, does the BK take care of any judgements and arbitration awards that are against me? Thanks, Kim in Michigan
