Oklahoma homestead exemptions are not great. If these account are still with the original creditor, try to keep them from charging off. If these credit cards are your individual accounts, you might have to get that house out of your name. You have too much equity and they can possibly force a sale if they get a judgement. Don't wait until you are sued. Talk to an attorney NOW, and protect your assets NOW. There is a lot of psychology in debt collection, so threats are common. You have not been sued yet. STOP TALKING TO THEM. Negoiate with the original creditor if you still can, if the accounts have been turned over to CAs. DO NOT TALK TO THEM.
