thank you. i checked the website and found two lawyers in my area. says their contact preferences are for members and not consumers. does that matter? i just 100% financed the home we live in, purchased october and probably have little to no equity. is the other property in phoenix the only thing they can go after? thanks again....won't be talking to anyone. are the credit card agencies ok? or do they record and hold against me with an attorney? furthermore, the two lawyers have left two messages and just tonight spoke briefly to my no-frills wife. she screens all calls and doesn't say anything about being my wife...in fact denies it all together - yet when she asked if she could take a message, was told "it's about his lawsuit" and he agrressivly pried to find out if she was my wife. she said no. isn't what he did illegal? what are they doing if they haven't sued me yet? the only letter i've recieved saying "it's still not to late but we're going to more agressive procedures" is bank of america. i'm pretty sure i can call any of the creditors as it hasn't quite been 6 months yet....right on the line. thanks again, jim
