I can understand if you simply *must* pick up the phone under certain circumstances, but that's no reason to hold a conversation with someone who's sole purpose in calling you is for abuse.

If you must answer and it's not who you think it is, HANG UP IN THEIR FACES.

I know that's extremely hard to do when you've taught proper manners from the time you were knee-high. But telling a bully to stop hitting you will only result in your getting pummelled even more.
