ask the court clerk..this must be district court in texas. show her and say you want to appeal or set aside this and bring your proof. thats a fast one they pulled. file homestead exemption with appraisal district and we did the 2nd with the abstract company. 2 homestead ones. change that bank account or close it NOW. i would head to the clerk's office and ask there. see if you file a motion,.,,,or appeal..they should tell you. barring that..write a letter to the judge in the case. send copies of your proof to all involved..ask for and fill out a form for exemptions at the clerks office also. make sure the ca (if its a ca) is bonded in texas to collect and that the lawyer is licensed to practice. make sure its district court. texas can not be small claims. not sure i wouldnt ask for relief in the court from how that lawyer works..and complain to the bar..AG..also, when its over. you may can get it all thrown out for good. see what day the trial was and what day your court paper has on it. some will do 2 diff days to get a default. illegal as hell but they hope no one notices it. fight em!
