So if you pay the CA and you get them to delete the tradeline how can you prove to mortgage company that in fact you did pay the account when they will see charge off from OC on CR. Is it better to have the CA keep the mark on the report and have them say paid as agreed, or is it better to have them delete their mark and just keep documents to prove you settled acct even though the OC will have it as charged off on CR. It seems like a no win situation, but for those of us that dont want to file BK there has to be some sunshine!
