Went to court today

It was just the Pre-Trial Conference, but got to talk with the attorney for Midland, deny the debt, and set the court date. She said to call her Law Office and talk to the big cheese to "make this all go away." She looked at the evidence I was going to summit and knew she couldn't win. She said that they would have to make a formal request for copies of the documents I had showed her, but the whole "mess" sould be straightened out before the Aug 25 court date and then we could both make a motion for dismissal at that date. I'm taking it as she wants the big boss to authorize the dismissal so I am taking this as a win, a slow win, but a win.
