interesting. my own take on it is...a CA does not have to validate. he only has to stop collecting until he does. by tying their hands..they will be forced to consider a suit. even courts cant agree on what proper validation is. personally..i dont want anyone thinkin suit ...and i dont care if they continue to call or write. of course,,if it really isnt your debt..ask for validation. however..i know these are mine. i also dont want them obtaining validation in advance of court..i want them to think im this dumb..old..texas hick who wont show in court. when i show..and demand proof..im counting on they wont have it nor know i know they need it. dont want to tip my hand..so to speak. CAs wont abide by the law anyways..in any form. everyone has their own choice on how to behave or deal with CAs. this is mine..:) if a CA provides validation and sues..there goes a primary defense.."its not my account, your honor" cause you have told them in advance you know the law.
