Jkelly, Thank you so much for responding!!!!!! First, I don't know if it is within the SOL. The "listed" charge off date on the petition was 10/2000. Unfortunately, I don't have any other info. I was in college and had problems paying during the 99-2000 school year. Not sure when last payment on this account was made. I'm hoping that by asking them to produce documentation that I will be able to find that out IF they can produce validation. Okay, 101 other questions here.... 1. How do I know who owns the account. First Resolution Management Corporation is not listed anywhere on the petition, only First Investment. 2. How do I find out how much they paid for the account and can I demand a complete line item accounting of the amount due? The original credit limit was $200. The judgement they are requesting lists the principal as $2124.83 with 23% interest from 10/2000, plus they want 348.56 for attorney's fees. 3. Do I need to get something from Washington State to show the judge that First Resolution is a foreign corp licensed in Washington? 4.Should I raise possibility of SOL defense at my first appearance even though I don't know the dates? There's more but this will be a goo
