Do they have a judgement against you? When you say that the collection agency filed papers against you........what exactly do you mean? Was there a court hearing. Did you attend. Did they get a judgement.

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU ARE JUDGEMENT PROOF. The property is in three names. Yours, and your siblings? I don't think you should pay this clown a dime. I don't think there is anything they can do about it. I would check with an attorney to see if they can force a sale of the property.....IF THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A JUDGEMENT. They can't do doodley if they don't have a judgement.
