Your problems are not credit problems, they are marriage problems. If you continue to transfer equity from your home to unsecured credit payments, and continue down the slippery slope of high interest rates due to overspending and poor credit habits, you will be finding yourselves worse off in a few years than you are now. Do what you can to pursuade your husband to negotiate for lower interest, do NOT sign any more home equity loans. Get yourself situated to be on your own, go back to school, get a job. It will do you no good to find out what HE should be doing unless you are willing and able to assert some control in your life.
