I got my Equifax report back with updated info, and deleted old addresses, phone #'s, and the fact that I am single and not married, lol.

It shows the original amount charged-off by the OC and when.Collection agencies are calling saying I owe more than that. Can they legally add on interest and receive it? How do they determine interest rate?

I figured having and keeping a recent credit report in my hands for the next few years will prove how much they have added to the original amount, and yes, dispute it should I have to. That's bs!
