What do you mean by, "all the right answers"? If it's beyond the SOL, they're probably going to clam up and not say a word. It wouldn't do them much good to confirm your contention that the debt is uncollectible. Of course, I've heard of it happening. Some CA reps are not firing on all cylinders. If that's the case, you send your lucky letter to the CRA's along with your CRA dispute and ask that the tradeline be deleted. :-)
