Well, after a horrible day fixing my PC cuz it crashed this morning, I got a response from Midland's attorneys as to my DV letter. All it said was that it got my letter and that it would contact Midland for VERIFICATION info. I would assume now that my July 13 court date will be at the very least, postponed--I think this because my Notice from the court had said the judge would only hear the case on the 13th if I didn't dispute, but since I did, hopefully I will at least have more time OR maybe with any luck and the grace of God, Midland will just decide not to sue me. I am hoping that if they do verify, that that is all it is, their usual verification letter. If that is the case and they keep on with the suit, I will sue them for some violations, and use the Spears v. Brennan case that is luckily and Indiana Court of Appeals case and has a beautiful section as to what validation actually is. I need your prayers guys, this is very nerve racking!
