If,as you say, you last paid MBNA on an ACTIVE (in use) credit card,2 years ago,then yes, you are within SOL.

The OC will show 0 balance on the chargeoff. The CA will delete their entry and sell the unpaid balance to another CA, who will report the NEW balance as a NEW collection account.
