Help Don't know what to do..

Tell me something .... by the way this forum is great really has answered alot of my questions... The original creditor is sears, The card is my dad's I.m just a user on it quit paying them in november 2002.. Dad got real sick went to live in nursing home,He is unable to speak are think clearly anymore and cannot deal with this. june of 2003 a creditor started calling and harrassing me bad that went on for a few monthes then it went to another creditor well now it has gone to another creditor who has only sent me two letters so for have not heard anything from them in 2 months What should I do? I have tried talking with the first 2 creditors but they wanted the balance in full which was about 7.000 when this started it's way more now with all there lates charges and whatever else.... my dad's income now goes to the nursing home he cannot pay. I had been trying to pay this but they are just horrible to deal with threatened to take your life almost.. We live in Texas what should we do?
