Well, that's nice if you can do it. I had an accident.........so I couldn't work. That was that!! You collectors treated me like crap, didn't give a crap. I stopped talking to them, I got legal advice, I protected my assets and when I was sued I filed bk. AND I AM HERE, ADVISING OTHERS BECAUSE OF THE ABUSE FROM COLLECTORS. However, I have to admit, I didn't take it for long. I learned quick to put the machine on fax and ignore them. I advise others to do the same. You guys just don't take into consideration that bad things happen to people. And why would I pay the likes of you 100 so that 25 (if that) can go to principle. I signed an agreement with the original creditor, not you. AND I GUESS I DIDN'T EXPECT TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT. When the trustee asked me "when was the last time I used a credit card" my answer was 5 years. And I still don't have or want one. That would be 6 years now. We all do what we have to do to survive. We are human and we make mistakes. Nobody here charged anything with the INTENT of not paying for it. That's the way I see it, and I will continue to help people here, to the best of my ability.
