Yes. If it has not been sold they may accept payment and they keep the money. But remember they can take your money and still assign or sell to a CA. I had one account that OC assigned to CA who had 60 days to get payment ( any pmt.) or had to give back to OC. It went back to OC and I offered to catch up back payment (less than 300.00) and start making monthly payments. They said I could send them the money but they were going to assign it to another CA reguardless. Go figure. They ain't seen a dime yet and this was over 6 mos. ago.
