Check the status of your dispute online, ( I assume you have a credit report file #). It may be off in time.

Otherwise, just have the amount listed in the credit reort put in escrow pending proof of deletion from your report. It is NONSENSE for the mortgage co. to insist on paying off any old judgment from another State that is past the legal time for domestication in your State. ( It is probably illegal also, for them to insist on it)
