couldn't have said it better....But on the other hand these credit card companies need to STOP giving credit out so freely,if someone has a credit card already up to its limit & its used up why do they keep giving or adding more to the card? They know as well as the person spending it somewhere down the line something could happen & they may go down the tubes & this money may not get paid back. But, no, all they see are dollars signs hoping no one will default.With people losing their jobs & companies going bankrupt & some people even losing their 401k's doesn't that tell these credit cards companies theres a red flad here. They are at as much fault & in-return people use them for everyday living,sad isn't it but who cares right its the american way by debt colletors.Maybe if these companies use their heads & wait to see if people get their accounts paid down half-way then up their limit it may help...but the way debt collectors go at it you just push people to the bankruptcy courts,so come up with another idea & maybe people will be more receptive to paying their bills,even if its only $25.00 or $50.00 a month,at lease they would be trying.
