If the COURT doesn't order it on OFFICIAL court documentation with proper notice, then you simply don't send it. Consult an attorney if you need to, but give the CA *nothing* to use as a weapon.

Discovery is usually forbidden for Small Claims, and if it is, then that means the CA has NO LEGAL RIGHT to ask it of you! They can send a request to you, but anything you give them would be considered voluntary. I can also promise you that it would be used against you.

And how do you know that they won't take your answers and "modify" them, since the court never has any documentation filed by you in its pristine state? Why would you *ever* take that risk? They'll have your personal information and your signature. ::shuddering::

Please, don't even think about it.
