Do all homeowner's insurance companies use a credit score now?

I have to get homeowner's insurance and I was turned down by Traveller's insurance due to my "insurance credit score". That really made me angry. I have never had an auto or any other kind of claim and my credit is good enough to buy a house. Where am I going to find insurance? Are smaller agencies better for that?
