Most go by credit scores. You're considered high risk with a real low score because you're more likely to set your house on fire. Basically do something to get $$ from them. But if your score is good enough to get a mortg. for a house, then I would keep calling companies until I found one. We went through AAA and I don't remember them doing a credit check. And it was alot cheaper than most. Hope this helps some!! Good luck!
