I'm new to the board, still learning alot from ya'll have a question still unsure about this.. OC was Sears, then got a letter from Sherman Acquisition saying they purchased the account from Sears, but they placed it with an agency called NES for collection.. since then it has gone to 2 other agencys but from what i can understand Sherman stills owns it. I haven't reached SOL yet still 1 1/2 years away i think.. I live in texas.. Does this mean that sears no longer has the account. Why do they keep passing it to different debt collectors. Do I just wait it out till SOL. I can't pay them right now, but from what I read I should not talk or pay a debt collector anything... To tell you the truth they are so hateful and rude, it makes you not what to send them nothing.. Help!!!
