If you are working, you may be concerned about garnishment of your pay. Fl. exempts head of household from garnishment. Unless you have assets that show up on your reports, like real estate mortgages or car loans,it is unlikely that you would be sued. If you wait it out, and settle with NO ONE, you MIGHT get a judgment filed against you, in which case you can AT THAT TIME make a mediated settlement ( assuming you can not claim SOL). If you make a settlement with any one of your creditors, all the rest will immediately file suit. I suggest you just do not respond to them, get an answering machine, screen your calls, and as soon as an account is past SOL ( 4 years on credit card accounts dating from the FIRST "missed" or "past due" payment) send the SOL letter from my website. As to the turned back lease, they MUST abide by the VERY strict repo/deficiency laws and give you all sorts of notices on the resale and deficiency, in addition, your lease must abide by ALL of the Fl. rules.
