Here is the deal.

If they file a suit, I will send them a full round of discovery.

Then, I will file a no evidence MSJ and make them respond to that. They will probably survive that, but it will take their lawyer lots of time.

Then, I will file a traditional motion for Summary judgment and toss their ass out based on the expiration of the statute of limitations.

I will through a motion for sanctions for a friviolous lawsuit in their for grins which will proabbly go nowhere, but they will have to respond to it.

It will cost them probably $5-6k in time and will take a few hours for myself.

All in all, it will be quite a show.
