I owe 7700 to Household, yesterday I found out they sold it to Atlantic credit and finance, then they sold to Collect America and they sent it off to Richard Dejana & assoc. I contacted them to set up payments because the letter I received said it was in pre-litigation. He was nice, but.. I told him I could get a loan from my fiance for 3-4000, and he said they would probably settle for that, I also told him I could start paying 100-150 a month on my account. My fiance doesn't have the money to lend and I'm worried it will go to court still..any advice? it's been about 10 months since I paid anything of this account.
