I was harassed by CAs. They didn't give a hoot about my accident and income loss. I was not lying to anyone, if anything I was too honest in the beginning. Most here have been harassed by CAs that violate the FDCPA. Bk is in place for people who NEED IT. FDCPA exists for a purpose.
You sound young debt collector, and single, with no kids????
Very big difference from loosing a job in your circumstances, than loosing a job when you have a mortgage and kids and medical bills and all the things that go with it. AND, it would be nice if everyone had parents who could help. Most don't. Many have parents that NEED HELP. You shouldn't judge until you have walked in our shoes. AND.......my question. Why would anyone offer a person with 13 charge offs more credit. I will be waiting for your answer. Good Luck in your new job. I really mean that.
