I'm the type your probably talking about debt collector. I spent 20 years in the military and of course needed credit cards to rob peter to pay paul. I had a family of four and lived on military pay and we moved around approximately every 3 to 4 years. Anytime we moved it cost us money. Although, the military tries to help you with different allowances believe me you live from payday to payday. We had impeccable credit and I paid on time every month to all my credit card OC's. We paid of course the minimum payment because we were always stretched out and didn't have much money left over after paying all bills and car payments and food and clothes for the kids etc. After I retired I kept paying on time every time and never had a late payment. Then when the kids were grown and left, the wife and I started thinking that after paying on these cards thousands of dollars for a few thousand dollars of credit we would never get them paid off for another 20 or 30 years. Kind of ridiculous I think, because we let ourselves get suckered into the fallacy of being able to concur the world with plastic. Plastic has no value! Don't want to pay for another 20 to 30 years and to tell the truth the Credit Card companies are nothing but crooks ripping off the american people with their illegal usury. We just stopped paying and I feel great about it. Cram credit where the son doesn't shine. If you think about it, a person can get a car on credit, even if they have the worst credit in the world. If you think about it, a person can get a house even if they have the worst credit in the world. They just need to work on some creative financing or get Ed Bagley's old no money down financing course. It works because I've used it.
