Then maybe instead of judging debtors you may find a way to help them. You see the reason that there are so many, many families struggling with money and debt is that many, many consumers are financially illiterate. Think about it. Were you ever required to take a finance or a budget management course in high school? I know it was not required for us. Yet in Japan it is required curriculum for the students to be educated in budget management, savings and investments. Many many people have no clue on how to manage their money. What is a financially sound budget? How much should you figure out of take home should go to rent? To food? To utilities? To credit card debt? To car payments? To children expenses? To savings and investments? How can you help?
