which high street stores still do 'instant credit' ??? e.g. buy a washing machine for £400 and pay a £40 deposit with the rest buy now pay later. If the credit amount was less than £2000 they didn't ring up for authorisation as long as you had a valid credit card, the theory was that if you have a credit card you are credit worthy and therefore instant credit was granted. so which high street stores do it??????/
