You sure do paint with a wide brush. I pay my bills and I have no actual CC debt any longer. We figured out a few years back we could buy a hell of a lot more without plastic than with it and paid the last one off 9/01. We have debit cards now. I have someone else's debts, 3 of them, listed on my CR, and a Montgomery Wards account that actually is mine, but it owes me, not the other way around. Do you think the powers that be at Wards have trouble sleeping because they either made an error or knowingly committed fraud when they sold a debt that was actually their bill? Do you feel guilty when you cheat on your taxes? Or what about the CA that KNOWS the debt they are trying to collect is past SOL and yet you harrass anyway? You seem to excuse that and SOLs are a part of the same law you hold near and dear to your heart. The knife cuts both ways.
