Well DC, all I can say is this....You never know when an illness or a tragedy may happen.....You may wake up one morning and your whole world cave in....It happened to me ....it has happened to others in this forum.....I always paid my credit cards on time before I got sick and tried to after I got sick...just couldn't keep up...had to let them go....I did not want it to be this way...it just is..I do no not feel like a thief because with the high interest and late charges, I'm sure I paid for anything I ever charged and for some things I didn't such as insurance and credit card protection ( which was totally useless),etc...that I had refused in the first place....and they slipped it by me anyway....I know that some of these Credit Card Companies have broken Usury laws because they have been successfully sued for that very reason...So why should I care about some Company that cheated me in the first place? I sure don't care about some crooked CA that takes advantage of someone else's misery by buying and selling debts past Sol and some past that.....That is just a scam and should be against the law. Really, the buying and selling of debts should be illegal...If you can't pay the OC within a period of six or seven years..well like I said ..Nothing but a legal SCAM...Common sense should tell you..If a person does not have the money to pay an OC no amount of abuse or harrassment is going to change that fact..You will probably find out for yourself....I have a feeling that you no longer have a job and you are scared shitless.
