Why do junk debt buyers refer to themselves as ASSIGNEES in court filings when they are in fact the new owner? And why do you think it is alright to harrass someone when the debt is time barred and you no longer have the legal recourse to sue? If someone hasn't paid during all the YEARS that the debt is within SOL, they aren't going to pay when it is time barred. It isn't like you are judge and jury and can legally dole out punishment.
