Way back in 1997 I was hurt on the job ( wife was a stay home mom 3 kids)as a Firefighter and was put on work comp that only pays 70%. After having 3 back operations and was told I could never do the job I loved ever again or anyother job do to not being able to lift anything over 2 lbs or stand on my feet for more that an hour at a time or sit for mor then an hour at a time and the ever lasting pain is what caused my problems.
I got behind on 5 accounts over the years and I saved every penny I had or got to pay them all off but 1.
I worked with all the CA because I felt this is my problem and I should deal with it like an adult. I almost did the bk to get out of this problem but I just could not do it something deep down in my soul just said no.
The last account I had a disabilty ins. on it and when I was hurt the OC was told about it and they said ok they will take care of it. That was in 1998.
Now I am getting calls from 2 ca on the same old account. I am going to fight this 1 only because I did pay money for the disabilty ins on it.
So when they called me I told them no more calls I want everything on paper and they got very rude with me.
I will be damned if they think for 1 nano sec I with put up with that.
