Can anybody tell me if it is smart to write an SOL letter to a CA that has only tried to contact me once. I live in Florida and I've been hearing so much about how people get default judgements and I really don't want this to happen. The last payment made on th credit card was in 1998. I just had the CRA's delete old addresses, but should I send Northland Group an SOL letter? I changed my number and they have never sent a letter to my current address on my CR. My husband and I are buying a house but the loan is only in his name, but my name is on the title and I just want to make sure that I don't get a judgement against me w/o knowing it.
