If you do not Opt Out, then ALL and ANY garbage collection agencies will poison your reports, as they BUY lsts of people applying for mortgages.

The collection accounts are not valid as they are no longer legally collectible. You do NOT have totell your mortgage broker that, simply that you do not believe any of these accounts are valid, and if any are still valid, you will pay them, (out of the escrow funds set aside for that purpose), once you have obtained documentation to prve the account.

You delete old addresses by calling the CRA, ( after you have obtained personally individual credit reports, snail mail)and 2-3 weeks after you have opted out, and telling them "I never lived at xxx St in Louisiana".

Once THAT has taken effect, you THEN dispute the CA entries, using the forms sent you with your credit report. Send the disputes certified,(not CRRR) make copies, and print out the tracing info from the USP website.

If your mortgage lender is reluctant to escrow these disputed accounts, tell him you will locate someone who is more efficient.
