What ever you do be sure to NOT fall behind on house payments. Even the government tells people when paying off debts the last thing you want to do is pay credit cards instead of mortgages.
Sometimes people will try hard to pay off CC debt and get themselves in a bind where they forget to save enough for next months mortgage and BAM they get screwed.
DO NOT give one cent to the credit card collectors. That $15k should be put aside for a while so you can look into CH7/13 BK and other options but DO NOT rush to pay any CC collector until you are sure what to do.
