Bud Hibbs is a complete moron. I'd agree that there are a bunch of really terrible collection agencies out there, but his site not only boarders on libel, but some of the information on his site is completely wrong.
MY guess, either your ex took out the card in your name, or someone else who had access to your social security number and information did, or there's a chance they got someone else with the same name as you (had hat happen to me once before, though not through that law office).
