I admit I haven't read all of Debt Collector's posts, but are they really so disturbing that you think the cops should be called?

We can't keep the Porn spam off of this site. How do we get rid of people we simply don't like?

Also, What premise do you have that would warrant legal action against this person for exercising free speech?

If DC has threatened someone, or purposely disturbed the board, I can understand legal action, but I have not personally witnessed this.

I think some of DC's posts could be less judgemental, but I don't see any reason for censorship as long as it relates to the topics on this board.

you have obviously never called the local police for this sort of problem, or you would already know that they simply will not deal with it. Unless there is a threat of violence or death the police simply don't care.

In this type of case you have to make a report with the police, and then they send it to the local DA who has to review to decide whether to pursue it or not. Unless you can convince the DA that you fear for your life or family, you can forget about ever getting any further than that.

At best, you may get their ISP to issue a warning, or even cause them to lose their job if they are surfing from work. It seems like pretty harsh treatment for someone who is simply speaking their mind.

Why don't you use your efforts to get rid of the porn ads that pop up on the site. We'd all appreciate that.
