i know you have a right to express your views. and so do i, so may i interject something to your post? re: austin and drug addicts. whether they are losers or not..its not your or i or anyone's call to make but GOD'S. these people have a disease..and many, many have childhoods you would not want. molestation..abuse..beyond what you can imagine. everyone is GODs child..and before you write off someone begging on a corner..or turn away from a alcoholic..just remember something i believe totally.."beware, you entertain angels unaware". whatever their circumstances..its not up to any of us to judge or point. the man you see as dirty and drug addicted may have defended your freedom in vietnam. the woman you see as a prostitute or plain LOSER may have had her father beat her and molest her till she left home , full of so much pain she can not face it. i doubt many actually choose to do that begging, without a huge reason. better we reach out in love and pray they take our hands..than laugh or sneer at them..just a thought..for sometime,,,when you cant sleep. its easy to judge..and say "I WOULD NEVER do that"..but oh....we really dont know. as a person i once knew..his precious child was killed. he gave up..depression..lost his job..his wife..his house and he sees no future. he is stuck in a rut of pain..and hopelessness. im not saying hand over your last dime..or help their addictions. im saying..just look and send up a short prayer for them.do what you can in this world..even its posting something positive and not encouraging the negative...and be grateful what caused their pain isnt in your life. just easy on the judging, please,,the loser or deadbeat labels. we cant see into their lives..but the ones we can see into..is such pain i hurt for them. they will not live long..they have nothing..and we are never so good enough to snicker and say "loser" to anyone. i dont care who they are..they deserve basic respect and dignity from all of us. go to a shelter sometimes..many are victims of our gov laws..release the mentals into society. dont find them a home or care..just send them out into their world of voices and fear. many actually have fallen into the cycle of no address..and thus can receive no aid or jobs as they have no address. many have children..bright..gorgeous kids who still see the world as innocents. many were soldiers..fighting so we can drive down the street without car bombs or the taliban. they drink..or do drugs..to get away from their pain. just a thought:). you have a right to free speech..the others do , and i do. but my right stops at calling others names..judging others lives.and causing hurt to a stranger..as the native americans say..walk a mile in my moccasins..and i believe we all should stop and thank God its not us..and for the chance to reach out in love to others. laughing or judging others doesnt make us bigger..it makes us smaller. just my 2 cents* thanks for reading it. no one is a loser. their actions may be less than productive..but loser? nope. not one. most who must call names..do it to make themselves look bigger. how sad when they see it makes them smaller. to thank someone who hurts another..i find sad. now im goin back away from all this abuse until this place changes some..i hoped it had..but it hasnt. i hope someday all your eyes will be opened to what you have..and that others dont have "things" because they are simply bad people. they arent. we arent. and that only God can judge and see into us. "things" dont make us anything. inner souls make us who we are, not material things.
