I have to agree. I wasn't trying to condone insulting each other, just that all of our realities are very fragile, and also very personal.

One philosophy my wife taught me, which I try to adhere to is "Don't take anything personally".

What one person says to another is mostly a release of their own emotions and their inward feelings of themselves. We all act as mirrors to each other, reflecting the energy, aura, attitude, or whatever you call it, back towards each other.

I have always found the expression "Before you judge someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes." to be very good advice.

That way, when you judge them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. LOL
