I have no intentions of paying off debts that are 6 years old. They are dropping off the first of the year. I would much rather keep my money to pay for my kids and my house. I'm not the first person in America to do so. Working in the collection business has taught me a numerous amount of things, thats why from 1998 and on, nothing bad has hit my credit report since then. Even with the 6 negative items on my report, i am in my SECOND new house, and have had 4 new cars since 98. Am i bad, no. Do i know how to use the FDCPA and the FCRA on my side, YES. If you took some time to read the above you would be amazed at what exactly creditors can and cant do, and its all legal. Not a thing illegal about it. I came to the site to look up Sherman Aquistions, of whom is literally 3 miles from my job. So now i am down to 5 negative items, with a 701 fico score.
