a clean credit report

Sir or Madam,
I am currently trying to clean up the mess that is my credit report and I have a question. On my report, I have an account open to GECAF/MCCBG with a zero balance, and its been that way from back in 96'. I would like to close the account out. I do not know who the company is. How do I find info. in order to close this account?
