Don't do anything until you really read these boards and understand that you can fight a CA. (and win)

First of all are you within SOL? And what is your states SOL?

Second do you have assets that could have a lien put on them, such as a house?

Charge offs stay on your credit report even if you pay them. They come off after 7 years I believe.

There are some things you can do, but what everyone here has told me is NOT to talk to the CA's and not to admit to them that the debt is yours (even if it is).

Read everything on this board, someone with more knowledge than I will be here to help, you'll see.

I know it is easier said then done, but do not panic. If I had not found these boards and had panicked I would have filed chapter 7 unnecessarily and really ruined my credit. Be patient, help will be here.
