You should file a complaint with the bar association of your state- the clerk of the court or whoever- has no right to tell you anything.

In Florida, if you are lucky, they will direct you to the law library.

BTW, you can file any motions you want to file. The court can not tell you not to file.

File a motion to dismiss based on lack of proof.

In Florida, at least, they have to file all supporting documentation with the original summons.

They are probably changing court dates hoping that you will not show up and they will get a default judgment.
