Somebody in the legal dept of the bank where my husband and I had a joint account said the they freeze accounts all the time..this was from somebody in Memphis..when I told her I wanted my name off the account...she said as of a new rule just posted today we can no longer drop anybody from a joint account...so my husband opened a new account far far away in another galaxy....So you say that they can't do the freezing thig, etc. in Tennessee......Thanks Lady in Red...I believe you before I believe somebody at a bank...I no longer have a land line phone...I bit the bullet and got a prepaid cell..just for an emergency and " have to" phone calls...Listening to abuse from some A-hole CA isn't going to change my situation..so like Barney Fife says, " I nipped it in the bud!" Thank you so much for your help...Nervous
