I need to know where I can find the law or site or anything in writing regarding when the 180 day chargeoff went into effect. My concern is what the law was in 1992, were people being sued for delinquent loans then like they are today? I was sued (long story but don't want to get into right now, case is in litigation, I'm Pro Se) and my defense is SOL and others. I have proof of the DOLA, canceled check. All 3 CRA don't show either DOLA or chargeoff because the 7 years has passed, so if I can get info on whether there was such a thing as chargeoffs in 1992, it will be very helpful to my case. Thank you
